ANDREW LAWRENCE CORRIGAN April 11, 1911 - October 5, 2004 Peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2004, Andrew Lawrence Corrigan passed away at Deer Lodge Centre, at age 93. Andrew will be missed by his loving wife Emily of 65 years; sisters-in-law, Pearl and Bertha Corrigan; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Andrew and Belle Corrigan; brothers, Don, Harold, Orville, Victor; sisters, Treasure and Bernice. Andrew served in the Second World War with the Little Black Devils/Winnipeg Rifles. He was a lifetime member of The Royal Canadian Legion No. 1 for 50 years. Andrew served on many committees through out his tenure. He was an avid golfer, bowler and curler with the Legion and Thistle Golf and Curling Club. Andrew worked for 35 years with Alpha Mfg. which later became Joy Mfg. Many thanks for the compassionate care given him by 3 West of Grace Hospital and 4 West of Deer Lodge Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. Legion service will be held on Friday, October 8, at 2:00; p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with viewing one hour prior. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, with service concluding at graveside.
